| I must say my expectations were high, headed down to the Ritz Laguna Niguel. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready so we hung out by the pool. It was 4pm and I checked to see if the room was ready yet. It wasn't so we were offered a few free drinks while we waited which was nice. Upon entering the room, I was highly disappointed. I was expecting our Deluxe Ocean View room to be immaculate. To my surprise, the room was very small. The walls were scuffed, lampshade stained, curtains dirty, dvd wood stand old and chipped...chair stained and old. They need to maintain their hotel rooms. Other than that, the rest of the hotel was very nice. The Jacuzzi had berries that fell from a tree all over the ground with leaves that could have been cleaned up...Food at Raya was good, breakfast was ok but not worth $100 and that wasn't even the champagne brunch! |

| We live in Southern California and it was hard to believe that within a twenty minute drive lies this rare gem of the Pacific. Ritz Carlton perched on a bluff of the serpiginous coastline offers unforgetable views and peace from urban living. Excellent service, decor, and architecture allows you to embrace the beach in its full beauty. We are looking forward to going back! |

| The hotel has great location, over look the blue sea, walk to the beach, beautiful landscaping, quiet... excellent service... But the top hotel like this one, they can do better by providing a bit more dinning options for traveler with small kids, better bathroom shower system. |

| Great new remodel, very stylish and clean bright colors and chrome, white-Carrera marble, chrome and blues instead of that old tired traditional Ritz look of dark wood and floral and brass every where...very nice updates indeed!
Also great poolside lounges and hip music to listen to, similar to what you would hear at Costes Hotels in France.
Definately love the new Ritz! |

| We travel a lot and have high expectations for five-star resorts. No worries here, however. From the moment we arrived through our departure, the staff, facilities and stunning location of the Laguna Ritz-Carlton combined to create an incomparable resort experience. There is literally not one thing I can think of that would have made for a better experience. |
