Recent Marriott Laguna Cliffs Review: "A few friends met in Dana Point for a quick getaway weekend; we stayed at the Marriott (which we loved) and the other couple stayed at the Hilton doubletree (worst Hilton I've ever seen). The Marriott was perched above the harbor with stunning views, the Doubletree was nestled between two freeways 100s of feet from the property... The Marriott staff  greeted us with great warmth and care, the doubletree, where we picked up our friends, was not as generous with any display of hospitality. Marriott is the clear. Voice of any hotel / spa within the area and has quick access to Laguna Beach where you will enjoy some of the best restaurants in LA /OC. Try 230 Forest Ave or Allesias (spellingr) also on Forest ave."
